These flowers are the silent witnesses...
to God's glory revealed in each and every morning.
They greet us, the seminarians, with their blooms each day...
and it seems that wherever we go, they silently follow.
In a glance, it seems that they look the same, but they are not...
they become a kaleidoscope of colors that praises God.
In the silence of their beings they, too, appreciate us...
they seem to look at us
they seem to follow our every footsteps
they seem to hear the beats of our praying hearts
and even sympathize in the loneliness of our hearts.
Yes, flowers are not forever
that's why everyday, they give themselves to us
even, most of the time, they are left unappreciated by us...
...still, they remain to be beautiful
and serve their humble purpose to the fullest
...in the appreciative gaze of our loving God.
