on a youth meeting:
one of the youths asked me, "brother, paano ba malalaman yung 'God's love' na yan? [how could we know about God's love?]"
i told them, "e di try to read the bible so that you would know God." i answered.
"wala na bang shortcut, yung pinaka-practical?" another youth insisted.
i think for a while, "try to remember your mother, i think that summarizes God's love."
one of the youths frowned, "why naman?"
"kasi si God ay mapagmahal, lahat ng nanay ay ganun di ba. kapag ang anak ay nagkasala... oo magagalit... pero, maya-maya lang e lalambingin ka na."
then, one of them cried. denmar.
