Jose Mari Chan Fever

Jose Mari Chan's concert is fast approaching. June 29 is just few days away from now. I have seen how the Fr. Arnel, SSS and the CDO-LITE's team work really hard for this big, big event.
Br. Ronald and I had all the fun in working with them all. For almost a month, we have been preparing bulks of letters to reach the hearts of generous people who would help us in raising funds for the SSS' Eucharistic mission. And each of these letters were personally delivered by the members of the LITE's team.
Jose Mari Chan's music were heard in every radio stations. His billboards and posters were already on display within the city's key districts. We've been posting about him in our blogs, FB and Twitter accounts. Tickets were selling like 'pan cakes,' they were, almost, sold out already. People are still asking for ticket reservations and we still consider an extra room for them. Anyway, this is a chance of a lifetime.
The LITE's team has been so faithful to their 'every-other-day meeting.' They have been so consistent from the beginning up to this moment. And now, for the remaining days of our preparation, they will do it every night. All of them are so excited to share their personal experiences. All of them want to hear each and everyone's story. Everyone wants to share how JESUS CHRIST moved each of us in making this almost impossible 'benefit-concert' to become possible.
'This is it,' as they always say. This is just to break the 'ice of fear' that challenged us all-- for all of us are inexperienced event organizers. It is our weakness, but this weakness was transformed by God into a blazing MOMENT OF GRACE.
June 29 is fast approaching. We are all excited to see personally Jose Mari Chan. We are all dying to hear his golden voice serenading all of us with his timeless music that transcends through times; and has surpassed barriers and generations.
This is HISTORY in the making. All of us here in Cagayan de Oro wants to be a part of it. June 29, in the year of our Lord, will be a date to remember and would never be forgotten.
THIS IS HISTORY... den mar
