I See You
I see You in every eye of a child
Looking so innocent so calm and gentle
I was moved by the voice of this orphan
Frightened and shivering begging for love.
From his eyes, his tears flows out
Hungry for days, abandoned and alone
Though he's weak, he reached for my hand
Burning in sickness, dying in my arms.
Who am I to forsake this child
So many a child I knew before who suffered and died alone
But from his eyes, I can see You in this child
A Christ beneath this dying soul
On Your purpose, I am moved.
From the moment I followed You, my Lord
I am blessed to see You through my heart
I can feel You in every stranger's heart
You made me worthy by serving You...
